The product is not faulty, but I would like to return it, can I return my order?

We are a small, family run company, and everything in our shop has been carefully chosen by us for you, our valued customer. We stock good quality products from brands and manufacturers that we know and trust, and we are confident that you will love their products as much as we do.

If you choose to return your order, you can do so at any time within 14 working days of receiving your order. Please advise us by email first at info@smartpetdevices.co.uk

Please be aware that you will need to cover the cost of the return postage and the product must be returned unused and in its original packaging with a note stating which order number it relates to.

Pack everything up securely and post to the address below.

We recommend you obtain proof of postage

As soon as we receive your return, it will be opened and inspected and we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.

We do not refund the original delivery charge on products that are simply unwanted, unsuitable for your pet, too large/small (product dimensions are provided on the listing) or ordered in error, as we have had to cover the cost of getting the item to you. 

I love the product, but it is faulty:

On rare occasions, there may be a fault with a product – if so, please contact us at info@smartpetdevices.co.uk quoting your order number and give a description of the fault. We may be able to assist you ourselves, if not, we may refer you to the manufacturer, as many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer is often best placed to troubleshoot the fault and if they can’t they either repair or replace.

Our Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

When you are purchasing a cat flap, please ensure: -

  • To select the most appropriate cat flap for your cat’s size, weight and needs.
  • We recommend that customers use the flap sizes to cut a hole in a cardboard box to see if the cat/dog will fit through it ok.
  • It is vital that you are confident that your cat flap purchase will fit in the desired place in your home. For example – if it is a glass installation, is the glass wide enough?
