The Cat Mate Fountain is exceptionally quiet in operation and maximises the appeal of drinking with its multi-height drinking levels.

Replaceable polymer/activated carbon filter cartridge

The replaceable polymer/activated carbon filter cartridge (one included) keeps the water clear, fresh and free from odours, just the way your pet likes it. Pet Mate recommend that the cartridge should be replaced monthly, or sooner if required

Pump

The pump’s output is easily adjustable and the gentle flow is directed down an inclined water ramp to eliminate splashing and reduce water loss. The pump has a low voltage power supply for safety and is provided with a 3 metre power cord for ease of placement. And with a low power consumption of just 2 Watts, you won’t even notice it on your electricity bill.

 

Maintenance

Maintenance is simple as the bowls are dishwasher safe and the replacement cartridge easily slides into position. Only use Cat Mate branded filter cartridges to prolong the life of your pump. The pump should also be disassembled (no tools required) and cleaned every few weeks (or more frequently in hard water areas) to prevent limescale build-up. Full easy to follow instructions on how to do this are included with the fountain.

Monthly Maintenance:
With one cat it is recommended you replace the filter monthly. For two or more cats, you may need to replace the filter more regularly if it becomes blocked. A blocked filter will cause poor operation and premature pump failure.
To prevent limescale build up remove pump as per instructions and place impeller in a small cup containing warm water and vinegar in equal proportions. Also fill impeller tunnel with vinegar mixture. After 2-3 hours rub off limescale deposits on impeller and tunnel using a small brush. Rinse well and reassemble.

The cost of shipping an item to you, and then the cost of getting it sent back, can have a detrimental effect on our business, and we ask that you carry out the appropriate research before making your purchase.

When you are purchasing a cat flap, please ensure: -

  • To select the most appropriate cat flap for your cat’s size, weight and needs.
  • We recommend that customers use the flap sizes to cut a hole in a cardboard box to see if the cat/dog will fit through it ok.
  • It is vital that you are confident that your cat flap purchase will fit in the desired place in your home. For example – if it is a glass installation, is the glass wide enough?

To be eligible for our 28 day return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.
